Precautions for use of coal mine generator sets?

(1) When selecting diesel generator sets, units of the same power supply system should choose products of the same manufacturer with the same specification, model, and capacity, to facilitate maintenance and management, and to facilitate parallel operation.
(2) Considering the economy and flexibility of unit operation, when selecting diesel generator units, the single unit capacity should not be too large (large capacity, high fuel consumption), so that when the load changes, the parallel operation and exit are relatively flexible. At the same time, in remote, inconvenient transportation, and complex terrain areas, there are also many difficulties in the transportation, installation, and use of large capacity units.
(3) In order to adapt to the frequent start-up characteristics of high-power equipment, it is best to select naturally aspirated electronic fuel injection generator sets when selecting diesel generator sets, and try not to select turbocharged intake units. Because although turbocharging can increase engine power, the ability to suddenly load has decreased, which obviously cannot meet the requirements of frequent startup of high-power equipment used in coal mine construction. Some coal mines are located at high altitudes, and electronic fuel injection generator sets have lower power reductions in high altitude and high temperature environments.
(4) The rated power of the diesel generator set shall be corrected under non rated conditions (i.e., altitude exceeding 1000 m and temperature exceeding 40 ℃) and special load conditions. As the altitude and temperature increase, the air density decreases, and the fuel combustion efficiency of a diesel engine also decreases, thereby reducing the mechanical output power of the diesel engine. Generally, when the temperature exceeds 40 ℃, the output power decreases by 3% to 4% for every 5 ℃ increase; After the altitude exceeds 1000 m, the output power decreases by 4% to 5% for every 500 m increase to correct the power loss.
